My daughters came to live with me about 6yrs ago after a long battle to get custody of them and get them out of a violent & abusive household. All 3 were baptized CoE and 2 of them are still Christian in their beliefs although my eldest claims to be a Spiritual Christian. How does this affect the core of our family unit?
I am as you can probably tell Pagan. My wife is almost pagan but hasn’t found a single spiritual/religious path that suits her and takes bits from different systems. My youngest daughter is christian. My middle daughter doesn’t speak about her beliefs at all where as my eldest has stated that she is a spiritual Christian (whatever one of those is).
I try really hard to allow everyone to follow their own paths but sometimes this proves really difficult when our beliefs clash. In the next few posts I’m going to talk about different obstacles I face and how I try to use my spirituality to resolve them.
